The Metal Trades Department, AFL-CIO, invites you to join us for our 72nd Convention to be held October 19-22, 2026 at the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. This year’s theme is Solidarity. Strength. Success. It’s Better in a Union! Our theme underscores the unity and strength that drive our work on behalf of metal trades workers across North America.

The Convention activities will begin with committee and Key Representative meetings on Monday, October 19, followed by affiliate caucuses on Tuesday, October 20. The full agenda will feature speakers from labor, industry, and government who will address the issues that matter most to our members.

We look forward to your participation in a strong and successful Convention. For questions or more information, contact Lisa Johnson at (202) 508-3705 or ljohnson@metaltrades.org
